Master of Science in Organic Chemistry (By Research) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a research-based postgraduate programme designed to develop strong research competence in organic chemistry. The programme emphasizes independent and supervised research in areas such as organic synthesis, natural products chemistry, medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, and physical organic chemistry. Students gain hands-on experience with advanced laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific writing within a supportive research environment and under close academic supervision. Graduates are well prepared for careers in research and development, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, or for progression to doctoral studies.

• A minimum of 2.75/4.00 for Bachelor degree in Chemistry
