The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Game Design program at Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) offers students a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to the field of Game Art and Design. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, students learn to conceptualize and manage game design projects from inception to completion. The program includes a historical component that provides insights into the development of the game design industry, while a Digital Entrepreneurship module equips students with essential entrepreneurial skills to market their own game designs. In a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, students develop interpersonal skills, positive group dynamics, and effective communication traits. Graduates of the program are well-prepared to pursue careers in game design, equipped with a strong foundation in game design principles, technical expertise, historical knowledge, entrepreneurial perspectives, and the ability to adapt to industry demands.
