The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Architecture program at Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) is specifically designed to cater to students who aspire to pursue a professional career in architecture and become practicing Architects in Malaysia. The program is structured as an accredited degree qualification, recognized by the Board of Architects Malaysia or Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM), serving as Part I of the professional examination. Graduates of this program are eligible to work as Assistant Architects and have the option to further their studies by pursuing a Master's in Architecture at UTAR. The Master's program, fully accredited as LAM Part II examination, enables graduates to register as Graduate Architects with the Board of Architects Malaysia. This comprehensive program equips students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and qualifications to embark on a successful architectural career and contribute to the built environment of Malaysia.
