The Doctorate of Philosophy programs at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, provided by the faculty, specialize in the fields of architecture, quantity surveying, urban and regional planning, and transportation planning. These programs are conducted exclusively in a research mode, allowing students to independently pursue original research projects under the guidance of experienced supervisors who hold PhD degrees themselves. This research-intensive approach ensures that students contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields and develop high-level expertise in their chosen areas of study.
