The Doctor of Philosophy in Informatics Engineering (Research) at UTM University Malaysia is offered on a full-time basis exclusively at the UTM Main Campus in Johor Bahru The duration of the program varies based on the student’s entry qualifications, lasting between three to eight years 

This full research program follows a two-semester academic session and involves close supervision by a faculty lecturer Candidates engage in directed research work, which introduces them to the processes of developing and applying new knowledge Assessment is conducted through the evaluation of research proposal reports, semester progress reports, and a thesis examination (viva voce).

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other Institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
