The Doctor of Philosophy in Petroleum Engineering (Research) at UTM University Malaysia prepares graduates to effectively integrate in-depth knowledge of petroleum engineering with strong research and problem-solving skills This program enables graduates to formulate and address diverse petroleum engineering challenges while considering safety, environmental, economic, and societal impacts 

Graduates are trained to communicate effectively, conveying and acquiring technical ideas and recommendations within a multidisciplinary environment They also practice professional ethics responsibly, recognizing the importance of continuous professional development in maintaining their competence in the field.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other Institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
