The Doctor of Philosophy in Policy Studies (Research) at UTM University Malaysia is a multidisciplinary program designed for individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills as policy professionals, emphasizing the importance of evidence in policy development.

This program equips students with the knowledge, tools, and research skills necessary for understanding science, technology, and innovation (STI), socio-economic development, public policies, and the policy process. It explores the interactions among STI, government, laws, society, and culture, and how these factors influence policy-making.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other Institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
