The Master in Information Technology Entrepreneurship program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is designed to align with the current requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) and 21st-century learning, utilizing a transdisciplinary approach. This program addresses the increasing demand for local IT experts in Malaysia, as highlighted by the Malaysia Digital Economy Action Framework (MyDigital), which aims to generate 500,000 job opportunities in the field of information technology. By adopting a transdisciplinary approach, the program aims to attract a diverse range of students from various fields, targeting individuals with a Bachelor's degree from any recognized Higher Education Institution approved by the Senate of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The curriculum encompasses future-oriented skill development, including business aspects such as business law and intellectual property, as well as exposure to and utilization of cutting-edge technology, supported by industry panels and other stakeholders.
