Research Study Overview

Master (Taught Course)

  1. MPPT 1105: Research Study I

    • Content: Proposal (Chapters 1-3)
    • Prerequisites: Recommended to take MPPU 1024 (Research Methodology) before registration.
  2. MPPT 1205: Research Study II

    • Content: Report (All Chapters 1-5)
    • Prerequisites: Recommended to take MPPU 1034 (Statistics) before registration.

Important Guidelines

  • Timing:

    • RS I and RS II must be taken towards the end of your study; RS II should be in your final semester.
    • RS I and RS II cannot be registered in the same semester.
  • Supervisor Meetings:

    • Regular meetings with your supervisor are required, and marks are given for attendance.
    • Important dates (e.g., submission deadlines) can be found on the faculty’s website, not the SPS website.
  • Reporting:

    • Supervisors have the authority to fail students who do not engage in discussions about their work, even if a complete report is submitted at the end of the semester.
