The Master of Engineering (Transportation) program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is available in full-time mode and follows a 3-Semester Academic Session structure. Each semester comprises various courses that are delivered and evaluated. Assessment methods include final examinations, coursework throughout the semester, and a Master Project. To successfully graduate from the program, students must accumulate a minimum of 46 credit hours with a minimum Cumulative Point Average (CPA) of 3.0.
Upon completion of the program, graduates possess profound and relevant knowledge applicable to professional practices, benefiting both national and international communities. They are equipped to apply their expertise and skills in the planning, analysis, design, and supervision of projects within the field of civil engineering. Furthermore, graduates are capable of formulating hypotheses, designing and conducting scientific experiments or research to solve problems and provide explanations for observed phenomena.

Entry Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree: Candidates should possess a good honors bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or an equivalent qualification. The degree should have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 and above. The bachelor's degree should provide a solid foundation in civil engineering principles and relevant coursework.
  • Lower Degree Grade with Working Experience: In certain cases, candidates with a lower degree grade may be considered for admission if they have sufficient working experience in the field. The working experience should demonstrate practical knowledge and skills in civil engineering.
