The Master of Engineering (Electrical Power) program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is an advanced degree program designed for graduates and professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of current technology and techniques in electrical power, energy conversion, and high voltage engineering. This program offers a high-level graduate curriculum that provides a strong theoretical foundation, enabling students to understand and develop new technologies and trends in the electrical engineering field. The program equips students with the skills necessary to make immediate contributions to the workplace and become industry leaders. Exceptional students also have the opportunity to pursue further studies leading to a Ph.D. degree. Additionally, the program offers an opportunity for prospective students who are currently registered as graduate engineers with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) under the electronics category to convert to the electrical category, subject to terms, conditions, and approval from BEM.
