The Master of Human Resource Development program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia offers an advanced research-based study in the field of Human Resource Development (HRD). This program is designed to foster a deep understanding and contribute to the expansion of new knowledge in various areas of the HRD discipline through rigorous research activities. Students will engage in a significant research investigation, focusing on either a theoretical or applied aspect of HRD, culminating in the production of a thesis. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to critically analyze HRD-related issues, drawing insights from observations, literature reviews, and data analysis. The thesis, which should not exceed 200 pages (including references), will showcase the student's research findings and contributions to the HRD field. The conferment of the degree is contingent upon the successful completion of the thesis and a viva voce defense, where students will defend their research in front of a panel.

Entry Requirement

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Technology Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
• A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.
