The Master of Philosophy Bioscience by Research program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a specialized and research-intensive program designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of bioscience. The program's primary objective is to develop graduates who can contribute to scientific advancements and innovative solutions in various areas of bioscience through independent and original research. Under the guidance of experienced faculty members, students undertake in-depth research projects in fields such as molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, and genetics. The program emphasizes critical thinking, experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication. Through their research work, students contribute to the understanding of biological systems and their applications in areas such as medicine, agriculture, and environmental science.

Entry Requirement

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Technology Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
• A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.
