The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program in the field of Halal Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia offers students the opportunity to undertake extensive and independent research under the guidance of experienced supervisors. This program focuses on achieving excellence in research by specializing in the field of Halal Science, with sub-fields including Halal Fiqh, Applied Halal, and Halal Management.

Throughout their candidature, students will receive supervision and support from academic staff who are experts in the field. By conducting original research, students will make a significant contribution to the body of knowledge and understanding in the field of Halal Science.

This program provides a platform for students to deepen their knowledge and expertise in Halal Science while developing advanced research skills. Upon completion of their research thesis and successful defense, students will be well-prepared to contribute to the advancement of Halal Science and its applications in various industries.

Entry Requirement

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Technology Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
• A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.
