The Master of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering (Research) at UTM University Malaysia is offered on a full-time basis The duration of study ranges from a minimum of one (1) year to a maximum of four (4) years 

Students must be supervised by an academic staff member from the Graduate Faculty The academic progress of candidates is assessed through research progress reports submitted at the end of each semester, as well as through the research proposal presented during a mini-viva 

The degree is awarded based on the examination of the thesis, which includes a viva voce, conducted upon the completion of the study, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate's research work and findings.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate.
