The Master of Philosophy in Software Engineering (Research) at UTM University Malaysia is offered on a full-time basis exclusively at the UTM Main Campus in Johor Bahru The duration of the program varies based on the student's entry qualifications, lasting between two (2) to a maximum of four (4) years 

This program operates on a 2-semester academic session and is entirely research-focused Candidates are supervised by a lecturer, engaging in directed research that introduces them to the processes of developing and applying new knowledge 

Assessment includes evaluating the initial research proposal, semester progress reports, and a thesis examination (viva voce), ensuring a thorough evaluation of the student’s research capabilities and contributions.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from KUTPM(MSU)
