The Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering program at UTP University Malaysia prepares students for the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the oil and gas industry. The curriculum focuses on developing strong foundations in mathematics, sciences, and engineering. Students study fundamental courses in petroleum exploration, reservoir engineering, production engineering, and drilling engineering, which apply engineering principles to solve industry-specific problems. General courses are also included to enhance soft skills and capabilities. Co-curricular activities, ethics, and integrity are integral parts of the program. In the later years, students have the opportunity to specialize in reservoir engineering, drilling engineering, production engineering, or renewable energy.
