The NESE (New Energy Science and Engineering) program is an interdisciplinary initiative focused on the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly, and economical extraction, conversion, transportation, storage, and utilization of energy. The program aims to improve efficiency while minimizing adverse effects on humans, nature, and the environment.

At Xiamen University, the NESE program is supported by the College of Energy, which is recognized as one of China’s top institutions for research, education, R&D, and technology transfer in new energy technology. Our faculty consists of highly qualified researchers and engineering experts with specializations in clean chemical energy, nuclear energy, solar and wind energy, bioenergy, energy economics, and energy efficiency engineering. All faculty members are committed to delivering high-quality research and development in energy science and technologies.

Entry Requirements

STPM  

  • A pass in STPM with at least a Grade C (GPA 2.0) in Mathematics AND Physics/Chemistry
