The Doctor of Philosophy in New Energy Science and Engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia offers advanced research topics focusing on energy-related disciplines. The program is designed to build a deep understanding of emerging energy materials, optimizing their designs and modern applications.

Our doctoral researchers engage in cutting-edge studies across diverse fields, including advanced catalysis, solar energy, and electrochemical energy storage. They also explore piezoelectric energy, wave energy systems, and high-performance energy materials simulation.

The research also covers building-integrated photovoltaics, urban flows, heat and mass transfer, and turbulence simulation. Additionally, studies extend to low-dimensional photonics, plasmonics, physical modeling of complex urban systems, and petroleum chemical energy.
