The Chinese Studies program at Xiamen University boasts a rich history of academic excellence since its founding in 1921. Esteemed scholars such as Lu Xun and Lin Yutang were once part of its faculty. Recognized as the “National Talents Training and Research Base for Fundamental Studies in Humanities” and honored as a provider of “National Quality Courses” by China’s Ministry of Education, the program has emerged as a leader in Chinese linguistics and literature education.

Entry Requirements

  • A master’s degree (level 7, MQF) in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or the equivalent, as accepted bythe university Senate
