The Master in Semiconductor Technology at Xiamen University Malaysia supports the development of key technologies driving the 21st century, including digitalisation, electric vehicles, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. It also aligns with regional efforts to build a hub for semiconductor manufacturing excellence.

In line with Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030, the programme prepares semiconductor industry professionals with strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in semiconductor physics and technologies. Students graduate as flexible, well-rounded talents ready for multicultural semiconductor manufacturing and research environments.

The programme also develops future leaders in the semiconductor industry, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship at both local and global levels.

Academic Requirements

  •  A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Physics, Engineering or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent, as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate.

For other qualifications and certificates (e.g., non-related fields,Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree , etc..) please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.
