The Master of Intellectual Property (MIP) at Xiamen University Malaysia is a postgraduate programme designed to meet the increasing regional and global demand for professionals in intellectual property (IP) and innovation management.

The programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum covering business, economics, law, and technology, equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It focuses on innovation, commercialisation, IP strategy, and sustainable economic development.

Graduates are prepared for roles such as patent agents, IP consultants, innovation managers, and technology transfer officers. The programme combines lectures, case studies, seminars, and research projects to strengthen critical thinking and strategic application of knowledge.

Academic Requirements

•  A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in the field or related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or the equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate.
