UTP offers a wide range of industry-related engineering, science and technology programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. It aims to train well-rounded graduates with outstanding leadership and communication skills. The university cooperates with Petronas and other domestic and foreign institutions and industries to carry out extensive research activities in six research priorities and niche areas. They are self-sustainable buildings, transportation infrastructure, health analysis, hydrocarbon recycling, pollutant management and autonomous systems. UTP has produced more than 15,000 graduates and currently enrolls more than 1,200 basic students, 6,000 undergraduates and 1,200 graduate students from more than 60 countries around the world.
